Accident & Emergency – 24hrs at SECURE Hospital
At Secure Hospitals, the Department of Accident & Emergency Care treats everything from life-threatening emergencies like heart attacks and strokes to minor injuries like cuts and fractures with the same level of care. The ED, which is open 24 hours a day, serves newborns, children, adolescents, and adults suffering any medical emergency.
Secure Hospital’s emergency department includes a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses trained in critical care and emergency, and specialists on call 24/7 per day, seven days a week. Whenever a patient is admitted, a triage of nurses evaluates them and allocates them to a zone based on the severity of the condition. Patients with life-threatening or time-critical situations such as heart attack, stroke, or catastrophic accidents can be seen right away by a doctor and treated in Resuscitation Bay, a separate specialized zone. The patient is immediately transferred to this bay, where a team of expert doctors and nurses assess the situation and start treatments to stabilize the patient.
With more than 30 high-tech ambulances positioned around the country, Secure Hospitals has one of the largest ambulance fleets. Advanced life-saving technology monitors and sends live information about the patient’s status to an emergency response physician certified in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). The seriously ill patients are transported to the nearest emergency room via ambulances. Secure Hospitals understand the vital importance of optimum stabilization of the sick and injured during the GOLDEN HOUR in an emergency, guaranteeing the best possible outcome in saving lives and restoring smiles to patients and their loved ones.
